I don't like wasting paint, so I use the paint left on my palette of a painting to create another. It's a fun way to create. Something unexpected.
I let the paint take me wherever it wants to. It often somehow serves as a representation of where my heart and mind are at that point in time.
Sometimes these colorful pieces become backgrounds for my next paintings.
